Happy Mother's day

Happy mothers day to you wonderful women that have influenced life so profoundly. You have the trust of God in bringing life into this world and guiding it onto the path of eternal life. You are all the best.

Time is flying

We are truly blessed. We have a job opportunity with Standard Optical in Utah that we have accepted. We also are looking at (urg) a job opportunity in Orem with America's Best. It pays quite a bit more, so we are giving it a serious look.

Omaha was a good opportunity where we could have been happy, but felt it was more important to stay a little closer to home. The air force is a no go for now, simply because they wanted us to sit around all summer before I could even go to officer training, so I couldn't just be a mooch.

With only a few more weeks of graduation, is insane to realize how fast time has gone by, yet how much of it has gone as well.

Elko trip

We had a job interview in Elko Nevada yesterday at an office. It seemed like a pretty good opportunity and I'm not sure what to make of the statement that they were going to put an offer together and send it to me, because they have been interviewing other people. But it was interesting anyway. Its a small town, but seems like it could be very nice.

Furthermore, Jennifer is turning another year more beautiful tomorrow, and we are both doing great on our weight loss competition. Jenni is 3.3 lbs away from winning, and I'm 5.4 lbs away.

Way past due

Well, I guess since Jenni's birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks, its time to update on what we have been up to for the last year (I bet you can't guess how well I do on my journal writing is going). We finished up our internal rotation in Portland, private practice in St. George, and Luke AFB in Phoenix. Ryan just had his 3rd birthday on Monday, and got all things Cars (Light da queen! YA KACHOW!) We are in Murray right now working on finishing up the last rotation, boards round 3 and finding a job, so things are kinda dull around here. Add all that to the fact that Jenni is homeschooling Katie too. Needless to say we have had fun moving every 3 months.
Here are some of the pics we missed out on sharing.

Happy Birthday Jenni!

It's my pretty wife's 30th birthday today! She's more special to me now than when we first were married. Jenni's birthday present was a pair of pants and 2 shirts from old Navy as well as a mixed present left over from Valentine's Day of her Ipod. Hope it was a good one beautiful!

update time

Board exams are coming up for me and Jenni is suffering almost as much as I am, only she doesn't have to take the test. Other than Katie being sick, we're doing well.
We flew home for last weekend to see Kandice and Scott get married, which was really cool. Hope everyone is doing well.

Funny Girl

Katie got a new teddy bear for Christmas and it has become her favorite stuffed animal and her constant companion. Her previous favorite was a pink bunny. Tonight when she was getting ready for bed she told Jenni that, "If I'd never seen that bear, I could have loved this bunny forever." I could use all the prayers I can get to be ready to deal with this little angel when she's a teenager.
